Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in civil engineering or related field required.  Seven years of progressively more responsible related experience, which includes three to four years of supervisory and managerial experience in order to effectively manage day-to-day activities of assigned employees.  Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Police Officer $41,990 Annually Mon, 05/07/2012 - 8:00am Tue, 07/31/2012 - 5:00pm

The minimum qualifications for Police Officer are as follows:

  • Must be at least 21 and not over 45 years of age (unless prior member of the Oklahoma Police Pension and Retirement System)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Sixty (60) college credit hours from an accredited college or university (Thirty (30) college credit hours may be waived if:  three (3) years of military service and honorable discharge, or two (2) years prior law enforcement experience with a Police Department staffing 25 or more certified full-time Police Officers)
  • Valid driver’s license (out-of-state applicants must obtain an Oklahoma Driver’s license if selected)
  • Able to perform the essential duties of a Police Officer

Stormwater Engineer $73,323 - $104,401 annually Thu, 05/17/2012 - 8:00am Fri, 06/29/2012 - 5:00pm

Requires four year degree from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering or related field. Five years of progressively responsible related experience is required in order to obtain experience in solving complex work issues and problems.  Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) by the state of Oklahoma is required.
