Public Transit Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Goal

PUBLIC NOTICE: City of Norman Public Transit Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) GOAL for FFYs 2020-2022

In accordance with 49 CFR ยง 26.45(g), the City of Norman invites the public to review the proposed DBE goal and submit comments. The City of Norman has proposed an overall goal of 1.33% for Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) participating in U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration (FTA)-assisted contracts. The DBE goal applies to applicable professional services, construction, and procurement contracts during FFYs 2020-2022, beginning Oct. 1, 2019, and ending Sept. 31, 2022.


A complete description of the proposed goal and its rationale are available for public inspection for 30 days, and comments will be received for 45 days from the date of this notice. The proposed goal is available online (CON DBE Goal) or at the City of Norman Public Works Office, 201 West Gray St., Building A, Norman, OK 73069, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
