Public invited to Oct. 24 open house on updated Americans with Disabilities Act Transition Plan


The City of Norman invites community members to provide input on the City’s updated Americans with Disabilities Act Transition Plan at an open house at 3 p.m. at City Hall on Oct. 24. 
The open house will begin with an introduction from Mayor Miller followed by a presentation of the updated plan and public discussion. Residents can add their comments or recommendations for accessibility to an interactive map online at https://bit.ly/2NJwtrm as part of the City's continuous review process. 
Norman adopted the ADA Transition Plan plan in June 2018 following the completion of a comprehensive review of City programs, services, activities, public buildings, parks, and pedestrian facilities within the public right-of-way. Currently, the plan's primary focus is the accessibility of City facilities.
