Council approves separation agreement with City Attorney

The Norman City Council approved a separation agreement with
longtime City Attorney Jeff Bryant at a Special Session on Tuesday, December
18.

Jeffery H. Bryant was employed as an attorney for the City
of Norman for over 32 years. He served the City as the City Attorney of the
City of Norman from September of 2004 until he resigned effective February 28,
2019.

During his tenure, Bryant performed his duties consistent
with the City of Norman City Charter, Code of Ordinances and policies and
procedures consistent with the laws of the State of Oklahoma and the United
States. Also during his time as City Attorney, the City of Norman Legal
Department was recognized as one of the most respected Municipal Law
Departments in the state. Bryant resigned on good terms with the City of
Norman, and the City wishes him well in his future endeavors.
