Municipal Parking Lot opened in Campus Corner area today

A new Municipal Parking Lot located at 710 Asp Avenue opened to the public Monday morning providing much-needed alleviation to parking strains in the Campus Corner area.

Caution advised in overnight and morning travel

City of Norman crews are treating bridges and overpasses
across the city and will remain on standby overnight. Roadways in Norman are
mostly clear with isolated slick spots. Drivers are encouraged to stay alert to
the potential for refreezing as temperatures drop overnight.

The City of Norman releases Vision for Norman Bond and Utility Educational Materials

At its meeting on Jan. 22, Norman City Council voted unanimously to place two general obligation bonds and a new utility on a Special Election ballot for separate voter consideration on April 2, to address critical infrastructure needs and create a Vision for Norman’s future.

Thursday, Friday recycling delayed due to inclement weather

Due to inclement weather and unsafe road conditions at the Recycling Contractor’s processing plant, Republic Services has opted to delay recycling collection by one day the remainder of this week. Thursday (A) recycling will be done Friday Feb. 8 and Friday (A) will be collected on Saturday, Feb. 9. We appreciate your patience during this unexpected delay.

Utility bill payments unavailable through Monday morning

All utility bill payments will be unavailable through the weekend while an upgrade to the billing software is implemented. Residents wishing to make a payment will be able to do so after 8 a.m. Monday morning. This does not affect emergency services and will not result in service shut-offs or disruptions.
