Findlay Avenue between Main and Comanche to Close due to storm drain repair

On Monday (June 25) City of Norman crews will begin repair of a damaged stormwater pipeline under Findlay Avenue, south of Main. Findlay Avenue between East Main Street and East Comanche Street will be closed to traffic during the storm drain repair.

Signs will be in place to direct motorists. The repairs are expected to take approximately three days, if weather cooperates.

Traffic Signal Repairs at Main Street and Porter Avenue

Traffic signal repairs will take place this week at the intersection of Main Street and Porter Avenue.  A contractor for the City will conduct the repairs.  Repairs involve the replacement of a traffic signal pole located in the southwest corner of the intersection.  The pole being repaired was damaged during a single vehicle traffic collision earlier this year.  Due to the

City Accepting Applications for the 2018 Norman Youth Council Class

The City of Norman is seeking high school sophomores, juniors and seniors who are active in their school and community and are interested in learning about local government. The City is currently accepting applications for the 2018 Norman Youth Council Class.

Outside lane of southbound Berry Rd to close north of Main Street

The right-turn lane from southbound Berry Road onto westbound Main Street will be temporarily closed for a gas line repair beginning at 7 a.m. Monday. Oklahoma Natural Gas and their contractors will be onsite during the repairs. The repairs are expected to be completed by 5 p.m. on June 15.
